Girls 1st Birthday

Hello, I am so cold today I have got lots of layers on but just can't seem to warm up. Here is a card I have made for a friend's friend little girl.

Apparatus:

Gems

Ribbon

Cardstock

Souffle the duck image from popcorn series

Alphabet digi images

Bind it Machine

My Craft Studio Pro

Method:

Using MCS on landscape I arranged my letters on the lower half of the card and copied the letters I wanted to decoupage onto the top half of the card. I then added Souffle and copied this so it could also be decoupaged. After printing I cut the individual letters that I was going to layer out and cut the name 'Annie' and Souffle image into a rectangle. I than cut my piece of A4 pink card in half and just trimmed a little off the end of each piece (this means that you can make a envelope out of a piece of 12/12 - and don't have lots of waste as you would with a piece of A3). I then used the bind-it machine to make some holes down the side of my card and threaded individual pieces of pink ribbon through and tied them in a knot. I then mounted my Annie onto the card, added the decoupage and a few gems.

Have a lovely day

Cards For The Boys

Good Afternoon, I have managed to make some more cards for my stall and the photo shows a little selection of them. I wasn't sure about them at first but now I have looked at them again this morning they have grown on me.
Here is a list of ingredients
The images were bought from a website called WWW.Scrappindoodles.com
Backing Papers and greetings free from an issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft
White Card
Coloured Card
Scraps of Ribbon
I cut everything out on Friday night while watching Big Bro and then matted and layered everything yesteday. Which is the way I am planning to now do my batches of cards instead of sitting there and only managing to make one card a night. !
Happy Sunday

Kanban Girl Stamps and Paper Piecing

Good afternoon, sorry I have been such a bad blogger I don't know where the time has gone recently. TC has started reception class at school and so I have been a bit occupied with that. He was so ready to go to school but has made us laugh with some of the things he has been saying. One frantic morning this week he instructed me 'To keep your feathers on love' I don't know how I kept my face straight and goodness knows where he has had that saying from.

Also I am trying to get a load of cards made as I have signed myself up to do my very first craft stall to which I will donate some of my funds to the local hospice. As is always the case though I have had card makers block ! Anyway I now feel my mojo is returning so I need to now make a least ten cards a week between now and the end of November.

I am now set for the afternoon, hubby and TC are sat in front of the TV watching the football and I have come and locked myself in the craft room and will only leave if I need chocolate.

I have made these cards using my new Kanban Stamps, I stamped them onto white card and coloured them in using my copics and then stamped again onto patterned paper, cut the dress etc out and then glued it on to the image I had colored in. I then just matted and layered a few layers and added a few gems.

The square card is for TC's little friend at school he wanted to send her a card as he had missed here over the summer - bless.

Let me know what you think of my samples.

Following Lindsy's advice from Loopy Lindseys Crafty Corner (see link at side of my blog), I am also going to enter this into Crafty Cats Friday Challenge. http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.com/
Now lets hope all my links work !

Enjoy the weekend and Happy Crafting one and all

Hugs

Lucas Word book

Hello, I made this word book ages ago for a friends little boy and then forgot about it. I have finally got around to putting the holes in the side and adding some book rings and ribbons. I thought my friend could add her own photos of her little boys christening day.

Handbag Easel

Good Afternoon, I have made this card for a friend's friend who loves handbags. I took me a while to figure out how I was going to make it but now it's finished I am really pleased with it. I had the handbag image from theclipartfairy.com. I then altered the size in my craft studio, printed the front and back of the bag, cut out the piece for the handle and stuck them together. I then folded ny square card to make the base of an easel card, drew around my handbag and cut the easel base to the same shape as the handbag. I then stuck the handbag to it, decorated the bag and matted and layered a couple of different coloured cards to stick my stopper on to (which I made from a couple of borders stuck on top of one another and added a bit of text). Perfect for all those girlies that love handbags. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday xx

Easel Wedding Card

Hello - well you can tell I'm not getting much housework done this weekend can't you - I'm back again. I have now finished off all the cards I need for this month so I can start on all the goodies for my stall. I got the easel card above as a download from http://theclipartfairy.com. I think it's a really nice idea and you can make it as simple or fancy as you like.

New Baby

Good Morning, hope everyone is well, it's a bit of a rainy day here looking out of my little craft room. I have made this card for a friend's friend who has had a baby. I have got one wedding card to make and then I can start on my christmas cards and little gifts that I am going to make for a stall that I am going to do in November for the local hospice. I feel a bit tired to today - late night last night (11pm - which is very late for me) my clubbing days are definately over, gone are the times when I could stay out past 2am three night in a row !!!!

Have a lovely day
