Ladybird For The Lovely Faye

Hello just a quickie from me this evening, this is just a little card for the lovely Faye over at http://stampinfluffnstuff.blogspot.com/ who so kindly helped with my blinkie nightmare on Saturday. If it hadn't been for Faye I would have eaten my own weight in chocolate digestives and then probably started on the wine (that is a joke about the wine if my parents or Mr Kitty cat are reading this - a bottle of wine can last me at least a week these days in fact it has virtually turned to vinegar by the time I get to the end of a bottle).

Anyway the wonderful Faye sorted out my problem and now I can display everyone's blinkies to my hearts content.

Happy Sunday Everyone

Kitty xx

PS I forgot to say the card is made from Polka Doodles paper and tag sentiment and the ladybird ribbon was a freebie from http://www.craftyribbons.com/ recently when I bought some beautiful dotty ribbons, In fact I got the ribbons in 32 different colours and they look so nice I dont want to use them !!!!!!

Willow Sketchie Challenge

Hello I hope everyone is having a fabulous Easter and that as well as having lots of fun and eating plenty of chocolate everyone is having time to put their feet up.

Here is my creation for the Willow Sketchie Challenge of which all the details can be found here http://willowsketchiechallenge.blogspot.com/.

To make this card I used the sketch above which can be found on the blog (although I did turn mine around) and an image from the new Polka Doodles Double Sprinkles CD which I coloured in using my Pro-Markers. I can't praise the CD enough as Sharon gives fabulous tutorials on how to colour all the characters in. I then used some papers that I had free in creative cardmaking, many moons ago. Using the cocktail sticks I then did a little bit of knitting and stuck a bead on the end of my sticks.

I have a bit of time off work now so hopefully I will be able to make a few cards this week.

Thanks for Reading

Polka Doodles - Double Sprinkles

Hello - it's been such a beautiful day, thought I would share with you the card I have created today using the new CD from Polka Doodles. The CD is fab and provides tutorials to help you colour the images in and gives tips on how to use your pro markers if you are new to them like me. The backing paper is a pink petticoat one and the flower is made using one of the dies from Marianne Design. The card is for a friend who will be celebrating her birthday on Tuesday.

Poor TC has been up half the night coughing - hence I to have been up half the night as well. Bless he's been in bed all afternoon - not even an M&S hot cross bun (they are his fav's and he can tell if they have come from any where else other than M&S - he's 4 !!!!!) would tempt him to eat anything - so it's an early night for me. Feet up and an episode of Rosemary and Thyme - to be honest the amount of crime dramas I watch it's a wonder I sleep at night at all.

Thanks for stopping by.

Kitty x

PS have a good weekend

Polka Doodles Challenge - The spring has sprung

Hello - well I don't know where the past two months have gone and what a bad blogger I have been as I have nowhere to be seen. Well I have been to the NEC craft show but that is a different story. This is my little creation that I have made for the Polka Doodles challenge which ends on Sunday 3rd April. I made it by printing off the rabbit on the boutique CD, layered him up and added a little bit of glossy accents here and there to give him a bit of shine. I made his whiskers with dental floss and popped him onto some embossed card using the flower embossing folder from creative expressions (which I absolutely adore). Hope I am finding you well - I may even have time to place another post today as well - that's if I can remember how to attach my creation to the Polka doodle challenge ! Take Care Kitty This card is being entered for the following challenge Polka Doodles: Spring has Sprung
